Dr. Cross and her entire staff are phenomenal! From the time I walked in to the time I checked out, everyone I encountered was professional and kind! The receptionist Christi greeted me as soon as I walked in! I hate that I can’t Show moreremember the nurse’s name, but she was awesome! I even told her that I loved the environment because they were all so nice! Dr. Cross is heaven sent! I have never in my entire life had a doctor that listened to my EVERY concern and had a plan put together before I left the office! You can tell that she cares about her patients and is passionate about what she does! I am recommending her to everyone that I know! If you’re looking for a great doctor, please give Dr. Cross a chance! Based on my experience today, she has a patient for life!
Dr. Nwegbo-Banks was most patient, interested, knowledgeable, upbeat, comforting, precise, and thorough. Finding a doctor that has an excellent bedside manner can often be hit or miss in these times, so finding one that has lots iShow moren common with their patients is an added asset. As a woman, your OB/GYN is one of the most important, if not the most important doctor to help advocate for your personal wellness. I was uber excited and pleased with my visit from the intake reps., nurse, doctor, and phlebotomist; the facility is so welcoming, warm, clean, and upscale. I look forward to my new partnership with my rooted DFW now Houston/Pearland physician and her guidance. “Y’all better get you a Dr. Nwegbo-Banks!”

Tamika K. Cross, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who has been practicing in the Pearland area for several years.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Cross moved to Houston to complete her medical training and decided to make it her new home. Passionate about women’s health education and community outreach, Dr. Cross decided to open Opulence Health and Wellness and serve the community in which she resides. She wanted to fill a void that she saw missing in our community.
Dr. Cross has received US Congressional recognition and multiple awards throughout her training, including being named Houstonia Top Doc in 2021 and 2022. In addition, she was named one of the Top 60 Most Powerful People in Healthcare among several influential people including former US President, Barack Obama. Dr. Cross has been featured on CNN, BET, Forbes, Red Table Talk, New York Times, and more. She has a passion for improving health outcomes for patients in underserved communities and has dedicated much of her time to quality improvement while serving on multiple multidisciplinary hospital committees aimed to address the alarming maternal morbidity rates in the country.

Her patience and dedication to my concerns were just what i needed.
This was my first visit. The staff was nice and knowledge. I loved speaking with the Nurse Practitioner, however as a new patient I would have loved to meet Dr. Cross.
