Tammy Hamzavi, PA

Tammy Hamzavi grew up in Long Island NY and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC.  While attending CCU she also competed as a NCAA Division One Track and Field athlete in the Big South Conference.  She then furthered her education by graduating from New York Institute of Technology in Westbury, NY with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2010. 

After graduation she was employed as an orthopaedic physician assistant at New York Sports Medicine Institute in New York, NY where she evaluated patients in clinic and assisted in the operating room.  While working in New York, Tammy also held the role of preceptor for NYIT Physician Assistant students completing their orthopedic surgery rotations.  In 2018, Tammy and her husband Brian (Dr. Hamzavi), relocated to Florida where they spent a year in Tampa before moving to Melbourne, Florida. 

Tammy enjoys not only helping, but getting to know her patients and looks forward to being a part of the orthopedic community on the space coast.
