Tanasia is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland. As a Black queer woman, she brings her full, authentic self to the therapeutic space and fosters an environment where clients can do the same. Her practice is trauma-informed, queer-affirming, anti-racist, anti-ableist, and client-centered. She has experience supporting clients in the juvenile justice system, managing chronic illness, navigating family struggles, or seeking accountability and growth. Tanasia specializes in ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, mood disorders, and identity-based trauma. She draws from cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, elements of EMDR, and mindfulness to meet each client’s needs. Above all, she considers it an honor to walk alongside clients on their journeys toward health, pleasure, success, and fulfillment.
