Teresa Hutsell is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Bellevue Psychiatry, providing compassionate, collaborative psychiatric care to teens, adults, and geriatric patients. With more than 25 years of experience in the mental health field, she brings extensive clinical expertise and a deep commitment to helping individuals achieve greater stability, recovery, and overall well-being.

Teresa specializes in the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, mood disorders, sleep disorders, persistent mental illness (SPMI), borderline personality disorder, substance use-related concerns, and the psychiatric needs of medically complex patients. Her experience spans diverse clinical settings, allowing her to support patients with both common mental health challenges and more complex, long-term psychiatric conditions.

Her approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and honesty. Teresa believes that effective psychiatric care begins with building meaningful relationships and creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and understood.
