I had a knee replacement which got infected. I think Dr Powell saved my leg by putting a wound vac on my open wound. It took 2 months but it's doing great now. I thank Dr Powell for all he's done. We're not completely there yet Show morebut we're getting there. Thank you Dr Powell.
Thomas Powell, MD, is a physician who specializes in orthopedic surgery. He diagnoses and treats patients at Powell Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. He is also affiliated with Brookwood Baptist Health, serving the Birmingham metro area and surrounding cities. A native of Mobile, Alabama, Dr. Powell was a four-year football letterman at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, where he was first-team All-American his senior year. He enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with his family, and participating in music and mission opportunities through his church.

Dr. Powell was very easy to talk to and was able to relieve my pain in my knee. It was easy to get appointment and his staff is wonderful! Would highly recommend if you are having any orthopedic problems!
