It all starts with the fresh and clean smell of desinfectant in the waiting area. I love that smell. Last time I visited, everyone was wearing a mask, from the reception personnel to the medical staff, including Dr Saylor himself.Show more To me that means they care. Donna, Dr Saylor's assistant always trying to make me feel comfortable and at ease. And Dr. Saylor, (The Man) very profesional all the time, no playing around. His diagnostics and treatment always on point. My life is on his hands. A few more surgeries and I'll be back in the rodeo riding wild bulls, not! Just playing, I'll be able to resume life in a more productive and positive way for my family and myself. Both drs. In this building have been great do I tried a third for another injury. I am very disappointed in dr. Sailor. Close to end of visit I told him I am currently with a pain dr. And medications would be handled by him the loShow moreok on his face his nodding g of his head and his tone of voice in replying g clearly was extremly judgemental without even asking me why I am on pain meds. The one dr. I saw there is no longer there, he gave me my fifth back surgery, very successful but can only do so much. This dr. Did not even ask why I am on pain meds. I will never go back to a dr. That has that attitude because that type of dr. Is the exact reason I will never be able to live without pain meds!

Education has always been an important part of Dr. Saylor’s life. He earned his undergraduate degree in microbiology from Oregon State University. He went on to earn his MD from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas.
Dr. Saylor refined his skills during his orthopaedic surgery residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. He then focused his attention on complex shoulder, elbow, hand and microsurgery during a one-year fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Over his more than two decades of experience, Dr. Saylor has refined his approach to orthopedic care through numerous continuing education opportunities. He prides himself on staying abreast of the latest advancements in medical technology and is excited to bring those techniques to the men and women in his care. He has completed research in microvascular surgery, and has lectured at national meetings. He has held clinical professorships at the University of Florida and the University of Vermont, and currently is a team hand surgeon for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Dr Saylor was warm, reassuring, really nice- and he understood my multiple issues immediately! We then discussed a ‘game plan’. I liked being part of the plan!! That was really exceptional. His staff was also very nice, smart, and welcoming!
