About Tiffany Bastian

Tiffany Bastian, LCMHCA (she/her), is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate at Avighna Holistic Care in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is passionate about providing compassionate, affirming, and collaborative mental health support for children (ages 6+), adolescents, and young adults. Tiffany helps clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, grief and loss, behavioral concerns, and mood disorders.

Tiffany’s approach to therapy is warm, creative, and client-centered. She strives to create a safe space where individuals feel comfortable exploring their emotions, discovering their strengths, and building the tools they need to grow and thrive. Drawing from trauma-informed approaches such as EMDR, along with Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and expressive techniques like art and play therapy, Tiffany tailors her work to meet each client’s unique needs.

Growing up in the Bahamas, where conversations around mental health were rare, Tiffany developed a deep passion for advocating for emotional wellness and resilience. This experience continues to shape her commitment to helping others feel understood, empowered, and supported in their healing journey.

Outside of her professional life, Tiffany finds joy in music—she plays four instruments—and loves curling up with a good book. Most of all, she cherishes time spent with her two fur babies, Milo and Khodi, who never fail to bring extra warmth and laughter to her days.
