Timar Fahim, MD

Dr. Timar Fahim, MD, is a dedicated third-year Psychiatry Resident based in Hollywood, Florida. Dr. Fahim brings a compassionate, patient-centered approach to mental health care. She is deeply committed to fostering mental wellness through evidence-based practices, cultural sensitivity, and open dialogue that challenges stigma. Dr. Fahim completed diverse clinical rotations across a variety of geographic and cultural settings, deepening her understanding of how mental health is shaped by individual experiences and social context. Dr. Fahim has shown continued interest in advocacy, health equity, and integrative psychiatric care. Her areas of focus include trauma-informed care, women’s mental health, and expanding access to underserved populations. She believes in building strong therapeutic alliances, empowering patients with education, and providing care that honors both the science and humanity of psychiatry.
