I have been a patient of Dr. Lininger for 30 plus years now. Needless to say over those many years we have been through many ups and downs because of my on going pain from injuries I sustained from an auto accident. I was at a stoShow morep light when I was rear ended causing spinal injuries that keep progressing over time even after surgeries. He took over when other doctors just didn’t know what to do about my pain from few failed fusions except to try more surgeries - not an option for me at this time but with pain management by Dr. Lininger hopefully any surgeries will be a long ways off. Dr. Lininger always keeps up on the latest pain management techniques and treatments to give myself and his other patients the best treatments available. Don’t expect him to only feed you pills but he has an open mind and that other options such as PT or other things to have you try. I like a doctor that is totally honest and up front with me yet compassionate something he also is. I highly recommend Dr. Lininger he will be one of my doctors going into the future. Thank You
Dr. Lininger is one of the top doctors I know. He has been my doctor for many years now and has helped a family member and friend. The office staff is all amazing and sweet! Maggie is the best! He actually cares, takes extra time to listen, figures out the best way to help you and so much more!! I'm happy to say he's my doctor and friend! This is a no BS, or fly by night place! Very strict rules and place, another reason they are great. If your hurting they will fix you, or get you very close to fixed, but you'll be functional every day. There's not enough words to say how great Dr. Lininger is and the office staff. There our other Dr's in there also, I've seen a few over the many years. Some I liked and 2 I didn't, just my personal opinion. This is a 5 star office and staff!!
Board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist Todd E. Lininger, MD, has spent nearly four decades helping patients gain freedom from pain and grooming future doctors to do the same.
Throughout his career, he has shared his knowledge and clinical experience in anesthesiology and pain management with students and colleagues through research, classroom instruction, and presentations. Dr. Lininger now shares that expertise with patients at Neuro Pain Consultants in Bloomfield Hills, conveniently located in the northern suburbs of Detroit’s metropolitan area, and Clarkston, located in Oakland County in southeast Michigan.
Dr. Lininger obtained his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He graduated with honors from both institutions. His post-doctoral training included two residencies — a surgery residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine and an anesthesia residency at Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit. He served as chief resident in anesthesiology at Sinai-Grace and also earned the Dripps Award for Outstanding Resident in Anesthesiology.
Dr. Lininger is the director of the Pain Fellowship Program in the Department of Anesthesiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine and also serves his alma mater as assistant clinical professor.

Great caring doctor
Very professional staff
My 20 plus years of working with Dr. Lininger have been incredibly productive. He’s always been there for me, shown great compassion, empathy, and willingness to work with me on finding solutions to my chronic pain! I’ve had some traumatic experiences with other Pain Drs, Surgeons that nearly cost me my leg., Dr. Lininger has helped restore my trust in Rehabilitation and creating a Positive, Productive Treatment Plan/Interventions. I would and have referred others to Dr. Lininger. I know he’s a Professional that cares and listens and hears!

Kind people care about you
I've been seeing Dr. Lininger for a long time now, on and off, for almost 30yrs. He has helped me out and he keeps me updated on the latest technology for what I have. I've been dealing with RSD, for 30yrs now. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help with pain.

Everyone was nice doctor explained everything to our satisfaction
Dr Linenger came highly recommended to me. He has proven to be a very learned Physician, knowledgeable in a variety of treatments. I am happy to be his patient and would recommend him and his practice to anyone who feels as though no one can help improve their pain levels.

Well your front desk lady was very crabby the people in back were very nice felt like it was kind of rushed in and out had questions to ask the pain the pain started even on my ride home and has gotten worse I now feel like my head is too heavy on my neck also have a terrible headache I cannot get rid of my pain is getting worse as the day goes on not very happy sorry to say
