Todd Murdock, MD, is a friendly and skilled pediatric ophthalmologist on the team of dedicated doctors at Rocky Mountain Eye Center. He works with patients at the practice’s locations in Missoula, Butte, Helena and Hamilton, Montana - primarily seeing patients at the Missoula office.
Dr. Murdock graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He went to the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City for his medical degree, and stayed for an internship in internal medicine at the university’s Health Sciences Center. He finished his medical training at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin, where he completed a residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology. Dr. Murdock is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
In his practice, Dr. Murdock specializes in pediatric ophthalmology, double vision, and eye alignment problems, and maintains a special interest in strabismus and cataract implant surgery.
Outside of the office, Dr. Murdock enjoys fly-fishing, backpacking, and gardening.

The Murdock team is the best. They are careful to get a prescription just right by checking and checking again. Friendly caring and true professionals.

Did more than I have ever thought
I've been going to Dr. McCoy for several years. She is always pleasant and professional. She is very thorough and explains issues well.
Identified the problem, relieved my worries, and made me feel perfectly okay about worrying too much.
Dr. McCoy is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions throughly. If applicable, she offers different options for the treatment of your particular eye health needs.
Everyone was very cordial.

Dr Murdock and his staff are always friendly and professional. They have worked remarkably well with our two year old through the entire process of getting glasses and ensuring that she has the proper prescription as her eyes change. Dr Murdock is only in Butte one day a month and does an excellent job ensuring that everyone that needs to see him gets to, though this sometimes results in longer in-office wait times and less appointment flexibility.
Dr Murdock was extremely patient and kind to my child and I. Dr Murdock addressed each of my concerns.
Dr McCoy and staff are welcoming and efficient. They communicate well with patients and both the doctor and Stephanie explain procedures and concerns thoroughly. Dr McCoy listens to questions and explains things clearly.
