Tosha Luchtefeld, MSN, FNP-C, is a dedicated women’s health nurse practitioner who has been caring for patients at Rockville Gynecology since 2012. She is passionate about partnering with women through every stage of life, providing personalized, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
Tosha earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, summa cum laude and as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, from Indiana University in 1997. She went on to receive her Master of Science and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Georgetown University in 2002, graduating first in her class. She has been practicing as a nurse practitioner since 2002.
Her clinical interests include adolescent gynecology, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), acne and hormonal concerns, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), preconception counseling, all forms of contraception, and individualized treatment for perimenopause and menopause. Tosha particularly enjoys helping women feel heard, informed, and empowered in their health decisions.
Known for her warm and approachable style, Tosha values building long-term relationships with patients and caring for women throughout the lifespan—from adolescence through menopause and beyond.
Outside of the office, Tosha is married and the proud mother of two children. She enjoys traveling, staying active through yoga, running, and Pilates, and spending quality time with family and friends.
