Having been raised in the Midwest by a military family, Trent Knight’s desire to serve was established quite early on. When medical reasons prevented him from active military service, Trent redirected this passion, into becoming of service to others through the healthcare industry.
After completing his undergraduate degree at Chadron State College, Trent continued his education by earning his Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Omaha’s University of Nebraska Medical Center, in 1996.
Upon relocating to Arizona, Mr. Knight worked for the Federal correctional system where he provided unmatched care to those who'd previously endured poorly controlled medical conditions. It was during this time that he also practiced both, in Urgent Care as well as working shifts as a solo Medical Provider in a rural ER.
Trent can also be credited with having provided treatments to Police and Firefighters as well as delivering care to the employees and families for the City of Goodyear Wellness Clinic, which he’d helped establish in 2008. Mr. Knight has always expressed gratitude for the opportunity to have had a hand in such a rare healthcare venture.
During his service in this position, he came to recognize the need for hormone replacement therapy and was subsequently able to witness the substantial benefits to those who received it.
It is for this reason, Trent Knight MPAS, PA-C established the highly successful Optimal Men’s Center in the year 2019, along with his wife Kerry Knight, PA-C, who also serves as the practice manager. Kerry has subsequently chosen to extend hormone care to female patients, as well as Aesthetics and weight loss to all, with the addition of Optimal Health and Wellness Center.
Mr. Knight believes in providing safe, thorough, and closely-supervised Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) to his male patients as well as Growth Hormone Replacement Peptides (GHRP) and Growth Hormone Replacement Hormones (GHRH). In addition to this, he delivers non-narcotic pain treatments (Trigger Point Injections).
Due to the sensitive nature of medical issues such as low testosterone, erectile dysfunction and weight loss, Trent understands the need and expectation of each patient to receive empathetic, top-rated service and has successfully continued to deliver this to those under his care.
