Dr Batty fit me in at last minute and explained what was going on and took care of it. He also checked some older issues that are still healing. He also adjusted my Rx to better fit my needs.

Trevor Batty, DO, is a general dermatologist at Idaho Skin Institute in Chubbuck, Idaho.
Dr. Batty grew up in Vernal, Utah, and while attending Uintah High School, he simultaneously earned an Associate’s Degree from Utah State University. Following high school, he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Curitiba, Brazil. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University, he graduated medical school from Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona at the top of his class as a member of Sigma Sigma Phi.
Dr. Batty completed his dermatology residency in South Florida at Broward Health Medical Center, where he diagnosed and treated a wide variety of patients, providing him ample exposure to diverse pathology in various clinical settings. Treating inflammatory skin conditions as well as studying early detection and management of skin cancer methods are some of his interests.
He believes in treating patients like family and providing education in order to empower patients to achieve optimal outcomes. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He also speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
When he is not at work, you can find Dr. Batty playing basketball, watching BYU athletics or the Utah Jazz, grilling or cooking in the kitchen, and spending time with his wife Whitney and their three daughters.

I went in for a specific reason. When I explained it to him and his trainee, they didn't even address my concerns. He told me that he could get samples from the sores on my neck that have repeatedly been on the back of my neck and head, for Eight years, but it probably wouldn't result in anything. I went there to specifically look at these sores. I expected that I would have someone on my side. Instead he was too busy being the 'doctor'. I want to find out what is causing these sore to repeatedly come back and I got basically nothing. He did take samples after I made it clear that that was what I came there for. Very discouraging. I guess he knew more about my personal health than I do, even though I'm the one living in my body. I explained some of the symptoms and he assured me that drainage from your nostrils does burn your upper lip because it is not supposed to be there...!!??? What the hell is he talking about? NO, simple drainage from your nose does not burn your skin, unless you have a very bad substance trying to escape your body. 8 years of sores on my neck and back of head and he wasn't the slightest bit concerned. Personally, I think he was playing superior doctor just for his trainee. I was just his puppet.
Dr Batty, was amazing and really took the time to explain what was going on and address my concerns. The environment is positive and relaxing.
