I started going to Dr Bickman's at the start of my pregnancy and she was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. Her bedside manner is the reason why I go to her, no matter how crazy busy the day is, Dr Bickman has a smiShow morele on her face and takes the time to answer questions. I never felt rushed, I always felt comfortable talking to Dr Bickman about all the decisions I had to make. Dr Bickman is kind, compassionate and direct, I like getting a straight forward answer. I felt really well taken care of throughout my pregnancy, I liked having 1 doctor in charge of my care v/s going to a practice. I had a false alarm before I had the baby and Dr Bickman stopped by to see me at UCLA to make sure everything was ok. When I went into labor Dr Bickman stopped by before I was ready to push to check on me and then when it was time to push it was great to see her in action mode. She was direct and gave clear direction to get me through. Her follow up after childbirth was amazing, she stopped by to see me at the hospital and had me come in for regular check ups to ensure I was healing well. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Bickman and feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor to deliver my first child and be in charge of my health. Notes: Wait times - You have to wait to see any good doctor, I would be concerned if the waiting room was empty Parking: There is often street parking, in case there isn't there is a garage by the hospital.
Dr. Bickman has a truly innovative way of treating the thinning of the walls of the VJ during and after menopause. I was skeptical because I'm a lawyer but the creams were giving me migraines, and they can cause other harmful sideShow more effects. Although I don't have complete relief yet, I have noticed that itching and burning feeling is COMPLETELY GONE! I have one "trouble" area where the skin is the thinnest (at the bottom of the canal) and Dr. Bickman has agreed to work with me on it. I had it in my 30's so I'm not sure I attribute it completely to "MEN-OH-PAUSE". . because I seriously pumped the breaks before my treatments! Women feel so ashamed about this issue but we see so many ads about botox, fillers and the like, that even 20 y/o's are doing! Why not treat the most intimate part of your body? Dr. Bickman has great bedside manner and is mindful about keeping in touch. Dr. Tristan Bickman provides a full range of obstetric and gynecologic services for women of all ages. She provides general consultations, annual gynecological exams, ultrasounds, pre and post natal care, and treatment for issues relating to pelvic pain, infertility, menopause, and osteoporosis.
A mother of five herself, Dr. Bickman has a special interest in obstetrics and loves to deliver babies. In fact, Dr. Bickman had a C-Section, and a subsequent 4 VBAC's. Additionally, Dr. Bickman has struggled with infertility, so is able to relate to her patients on a very personal level. She specializes in high-risk pregnancies, and strives to help women have the birth experience they desire. Unlike many group OBGYN practices, Dr. Bickman delivers all her patients’ babies herself. Her patients never have to worry who will be with them in the delivery room. This practice brings a warm, personal touch to one of the most important moments in your and your baby’s life.
Dr. Bickman is a board certified OBGYN with hospital affiliations at both St. John’s Health Center and UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Bickman was born and raised in Los Angeles, attending Westlake School for Girls for high school, UC Berkeley and UCLA undergraduate and the USC school of Medicine. Dr. Bickman did her residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

I had been to a few different gynecologists but none took the time to listen to me and check me like she did. What took my other gynecologist months to help me with, took Dr. Bickman a few minutes. Also, the friendliest staff ever. Highly recommended.
All staff have a bit of an intense edge but overall very good service.
