Dr. McClintock and the staff at Midtown Urology quite literally came to my rescue recently. I had to have a spinal for a surgical procedure that unfortunately also shut down my bladder. While not necessarily uncommon it was compliShow morecated by other factors that I've been seeing Dr. McClintock about. I realized, that afternoon, that I hadn't voided my bladder, since 3:45 A.M. and I was going need to be cathetered but with the other factors I was dealing with it wasn't something I could let the recovery care team deal with. I spoke to my recovery nurse and explained my situation and let them know I had notified Midtown Urology and Dr. McClintock, ahead of time, of my surgery and the possibility of the spinal shutting my bladder down. They called Midtown Urology and Dr. McClintock who came to the hospital and my rescue within the hour. Dr. McClintock and Midtown Urology went above and beyond when I needed them and have my profound gratitude. I highly recommend Midtown Urology and Dr. McClintock for anyone looking for a phenomenal urological team that goes above and beyond when need be.
Initial consultation was too quick and not very personable (over the phone). Had constant issues with billing to the point where we had to call our insurance company and have the staff at Midtown call them since they kept insistShow moreing we had to pay out of pocket but the procedure was 100% covered by the insurance. When I arrived they also said I had a balance of $5, but there should not have been a balance at all. After I checked in and was prepped (prep-staff was friendly), I waited for almost an hour for the doctor to come. Some timely communication would have been nice if there were other issues or the doctor was running behind. Dr. McClintock was very personable and easy to talk to during the procedure. However, from the consultation to the procedure I received inconsistent information and answers to some of my questions which was not great or comforting. In recovery now hoping the procedure went well.

Great service with honest conversation
as always friendly staff more than willing to help with appointments, drugs, almost any question. could not be happier with all of my visits. i have yet to run into a grumpy employee in the 13 months i have been coming to this practice. well perhaps 1 almost but i may have mistaken the persons expression, i have no complaints with anything i have ever experienced at this practice.
I’m 75 years old and I know most of the medical community in Austin Dr. McClintock in my opinion is the best neurologist in Austin. He smart kind and stays up on the most current procedures and medication‘s which most neurologist don’t my name is Gary Bradley and I highly recommend him Thank you for the opportunity to say so
Dr. McClintock and staff were professional and helpful. He answered all my questions and took the time to explain them. I will need minor surgery and am confident that he is the best doctor to perform this!

Excellent
Dr. McClintock is very thorough and detailed. He has a wonderful manner of communication. He discovers issues that other providers did not or overlooked. I highly recommend him.
It was about as painless an experience as could be expected. The doctors and nurses did an excellent job keeping me informed and assisted me with a high degree of professionalism. The operation was over before I knew it…I was put under and the next thing I knew I was being awakened so I could be moved from the operating table to the gurney.
Everyone was concerned with my health and comfort. They were also cheerful and positive, very easy and enjoyable to work and talk with. My procedure was performed with no complications whatsoever.
Dr mcclintock takes a very special interest in his patients. We met only one time for a consultation and when I walked in for my impatient surgery he remembered what I do in my favorite advocacy. Thanks for making me feel very comfortable during a very personal surgery. Go Seminoles
Best doctor ever!!
I had a bro lift procedure. Dr. McClintock explained the potential impacts of doing nothing and alternative procedures to deal with BPH and evaluated me for UroLift. There are certain post surgery issues that can occur and he was very candid about what to expect and what complications might happen and the rate they occur. What he said would happen, happened. I am two days out seem to be healing nicely now. I won't say it was easy, but it was as expected. The staff was very helpful and upbeat in what could have been an uneasy situation. Thumbs up.
Very professional and accommodating staff, which is hard to find these days. Doc was easy to talk to and Took the time to explain and answer any questions I had. Highly recommend.
Everyone was very friendly and professional Got me in on time and were very thorough Thank you
