T Penn, DCN is always respectful, talks to my mom as if she doesn’t have dementia, rephrases if my mom doesn’t understand the question, is complimentary about my mom’s successes (she is a musician), and allows my mom the opportunity to talk about her past memories which are getting twisted and fewer as time goes on. T. Penn accepts whatever my mom says.
