T Penn, DCN is always respectful, talks to my mom as if she doesn’t have dementia, rephrases if my mom doesn’t understand the question, is complimentary about my mom’s successes (she is a musician), and allows my mom the opportuniShow morety to talk about her past memories which are getting twisted and fewer as time goes on. T. Penn accepts whatever my mom says.

I feel heard and my concerns are listened to and understood. The session always feels productive. Excellent provider.
Tynish is a very nice person, she listen to everything i say and give me feedback that helps me understand more. Sometimes i feel like i’m not getting better but i understand that it takes time and my age have to be put in the equation. But overall I’m trying to get better.

Tynise really gives you the genuinely concerned about you and how you are. She takes time to listen and cares about what's happening in your world. It's hard to find a Dr who really cares, that gives you the sense she really cares.

My mom has moderate to advanced Alzheimer’s. I ask her primary care provider for a referral to a psychiatrist for medication recommendations. I am happy with the referral to Tynise Penn. My mom can still answer a few questions about her health but for the most part she makes it up as she goes along, and I become a bigger contributor of the appointments. And am am not made to feel bad about my contributions as I have with other of my mom’s providers.
