About Uchechi Okoro

Uchechi is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Her focus is on the treatment of mood disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, and chronic mental illness through psychiatric assessment, medication management, and psychotherapeutic interventions She’s very passionate about her job, which helps her create a warm, welcoming environment for her clients, creating an individualized plan of care that values client involvement, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice to help them feel empowered to treat their illness through education in a stigma-free environment. The initial appointment includes a thorough mental evaluation, setting of treatment goals, and education regarding diagnosis and possible treatment choices. She works with excellent and experienced clinicians and is very pleased to collaborate and coordinate care with them when appropriate for the clients' requirements.

Dr Okora was amazing at first I considered canceling be I didn’t want to talk to anyone new. But she put me at ease right away. She was friendly,Pleasant and attentive.
