I have been a patient at Prevention First since early Covid days, when I moved halfway across the country to live in St. Louis. Dr. Javaid was only doing virtual visits at that time, and I felt fortunate to have found such a good Show morelistener while adjusting to a new city. Now Covid is a bad memory and visits in person are really great. The staff is friendly and very efficient. I never have to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes for my appointment. I really miss Nurse Melody but I highly recommend Dr. Javaid. He cares about his patients and he is willing to listen to my thoughts about my care. Some doctors have a god complex and no interest in my thoughts. Not so, at this place! 5 of 5 stars all the way around.
My appointment was on Feb 27 and my blood samples were taken the same day, but they kept me waiting 2 WEEKS for a call with the results, which gave me ZERO understanding of the actual tests performed. I received NO EXPLANATION at Show moreall on what the results mean for me, or a written copy of them. Also, I was directed to do the test at the lab next door, which happens to be out of network for me, so most probably I will be charged extra for the test. It's simply UNACCEPTABLE for me.

Dr Javaid and his staff were very professional and courteous. They saw me immediately at my appointment time and did not require a long wait to see the doctor once in the exam room. He was professional to the point but in a caring way, I would recommend him to anybody.
