Usman Javaid, MD, is an experienced internist providing friendly and professional care to adults at Prevention First, LLC in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Javaid was raised in Texas and received his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan.
He worked as a physician at several hospitals in Pakistan, before returning to the States to complete his Internal Medicine residency at St Louis University. Dr. Javaid then completed a fellowship in geriatrics at St. Louis University School of Medicine in Missouri.
Dr. Javaid stayed in St. Louis, serving as a hospitalist at Des Peres Hospital before becoming an internist and geriatrician at a number of local practices.
He is a member of the American Geriatrics Society and has published several medical research studies.
Dr. Javaid holds his medical licensure in Missouri, where he’s thrilled to bring his decades-long experience to the team and patients at Prevention First LLC.

Doctor who cares
I am so fortunate to have Dr. Javaid as my PCP. He is thorough and has really taken good care of me. I moved to another state 3 years ago, but continue to return to St. Louis to have appointments with Dr. Javaid.
I have been a patient of Dr. Javaids for many years now and I have always felt that he and his staff really cares about me and takes time to answer all of my questions.
My visit with the doctor was good. I have no complaints with Dr. Javaid.
