Dr. Valery Dronsky, MD

Valery Dronsky, MD,  is board certified in general surgery and trained and certified in robotic surgery. He is also the co-founder at Lenox Hill Surgeons, LLP, located in the Lenox Hill area of Manhattan, New York City. 

Dr. Dronsky graduated from the Russian State Medical University in 1988. After training, he started his surgical career as a faculty member at the university. 

Dr. Dronsky gained extensive clinical research experience at Sutter Health California Pacific Medical Center, formerly known as UCSF California Pacific Medical Center. He then continued his surgical education as a resident at Lenox Hill Hospital and SUNY Downstate Medical Health Science Center. Dr. Dronsky also completed a minimally invasive laparoscopic fellowship at Lutheran Medical Center. 

He worked as a surgical attending and clinical assistant professor in general, minimally invasive, and trauma surgery at Lutheran Medical Center. In 2009, Dr. Dronsky joined Surgical Associates of New York, LLP, regrouped as General and Laparoscopic Surgeons of New York, LLP in 2012.

I do not think that a physician, especially a surgeon, can care too much. Every decision I make, every recommendation I give, and every operation I do, has incredible importance. I have always felt this way, and I always plan to practice medicine in this fashion.”
