Board Certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Van Tran is a native of Houston, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas - Austin with a degree in Biology. He later went to medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He returned to Houston, Texas to complete his Family Medicine residency at the University of Texas - Houston. He trained at Memorial Herman Hospital and LBJ Hospital. His special areas of interest are medical weight loss, testosterone replacement therapy, ADHD treatment, hypertension and diabetes. He is also trained in Botox, filers (Juvederm and Restylane) and aesthetic laser procedures. He is a member of American Medical Association (AMA), Texas Medical Association (TMA) and American Academy of Family Practice (AAFP). Dr. Tran makes you feel comfortable and I am confident he knows what he is doing.
Dr. Tran has been my GP for years. He is not even on my insurance plan but I choose to go to him anyway. He is patient and kind and doesn’t force anything on me and he really listens to my concerns. I have sent all my friends and family to him.

Clean office. Friendly staff. Dr. Van Tran was very friendly and discussed my concerns. He’s a busy doc so may have to wait a little to see him but well worth it.
Dr Tran and his staff have always been very friendly and professional. I moved out of town but still go see Dr Tran despite the hour and half drive.
I’ve been with Dr. Van Tran for 1 year today and in that time I went from 317 lbs to 229 lbs. Almost 100 lbs lost!!! I followed through with his plan, ate the right foods, and put in the work and the results are there. I 100% feel like Dr. Van Tran saved my life.

The employee at the checkout was not very friendly and seemed irritated because I forgot to notify yall that my insurance plan had changed. People make mistakes and don't always know or remember the rules when they only go to the doctor once or twice a year.
