Victoria Smurygin, PMHNP

Victoria Smurygin, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Revived Soul Medical P.C. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adults experiencing a wide range of psychiatric conditions.

Victoria earned a second bachelor's degree in Nursing from Wagner College. After several years as a registered nurse, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her diverse professional background has provided her with a unique perspective that combines analytical thinking with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Victoria worked as an Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in neurosurgery, spine, and trauma. Assisting in complex brain and spinal surgeries gave her a profound appreciation for the intricate relationship between the brain and human behavior. Witnessing firsthand how neurological conditions can affect cognition, emotion, and quality of life deepened her passion for mental health and strengthened her commitment to helping patients achieve emotional and psychological well-being.

Victoria evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), insomnia, and other mood and psychiatric disorders. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, supportive psychotherapy, and patient education while collaborating with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans.
