I'm 53 and have flat feet that have worn out my knees and hips. Can't lie..yoyo weight hasn't helped. I'm active but pain knocked me down. Dr. Choung fixed my left foot that has prolonged the knee and hip surgery for that leg. TShow morehe right knee has been replaced and it changed my life. I dropped 50 lbs and have been mountain biking in Santos. Life was good until a car accident set me back. Gained weight back and due to injuries my right hip is now bone on bone. So now I'm in trusting my doctor to get me up and running again. Excited for my future and trust wholeheartedly in Dr. Choung.
From the moment I entered Dr. Choung’s office, I was always greeted with the most beautiful, enthusiastic respect. He has an array of wonderful workers whom all are very educated. Currently, I’m in PT, I wasn’t certain how things were going to go, it was nearly 3 weeks before I got in; with scheduling, and insurance. But, I must admit, all that fear is gone and I couldn’t be happier. The PT, really works, you just need to work with it.

Dr. Choung obtained his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He then went on to the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, where he received his Medical Degree. Dr. Choung is a member in good standing of several medical professional associations including the Florida Medical Association, Citrus County Medical Society, American Medical Association and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Choung treats patients for a wide variety of orthopaedic issues. Everything fine, as usual.
Dr. Choung has requested me to be referred to a Neorologist. I just wanted you to know(especially Kimberley) that an appointment has been made with Advent Health(Dr.Fransisco Ramirez-Suarez on 5-21-24 @ 9:30 am.. I will be in touch with your office, when my visit is complete.. Hopefully, I will have the results from the nerve-conduction-study, when I "follow-up" on Tuesday June 18, 2024 @ 9:30 am. Speaking as a retired RN, I would highly recommend Dr Choung. Yes our health care is going down the tube but Dr Choung is extremely patient oriented. He not only listens as to what his patients say but truly hears what is being said. Thank you Dr Choung for being the fantastic physician you are. Office personnel were great! Not impressed with assembly line care! Dr was not patient friendly as far as no explanation for care he recommended. In give results as he saw them gave shot and out! Got second opinion and his recommendation was definitely not what was needed. I will not return.
