This was my first time at the Shankle clinic. I was referred to the clinic by my doctor to be tested for memory issues. My mother passed away due to Alzheimer’s so when I started getting forgetful, I wanted to know if I had markerShow mores for it. I was quite unsettled & had no idea what the testing would be like and of course, the testing outcomes. I needn’t have worried. The office staff were kind and considerate of my time- I was seen right away-no waiting. The testing professionals were easy to work with, had a sense of humor and answered all my questions. After testing, we reviewed the results in language I could understand. When I got home, I checked my email and there was an even easier to understand summary of the testing results plus orders for additional testing. Once the additional testing is completed, I will have an appointment with Dr. Shankle to go over results.
Dr Shankle provides those of with Alzheimer’s disease with HOPE. Since the 3-4 years I’ve been receiving treatment from him my Alzheimer’s testing has shown that I’m back to normal aging for a 73 year old woman. My mother died frShow moreom Alzheimer’s so as I got older I wanted to be tested early to see if I had the gene. I did. So it was recommended that I go to Dr Shankle. His treatment has removed a large portion of the plaques and tangles that Alzheimer’s causes which make one lose their personality and ability to function. When I was in his waiting room yesterday there was an elderly woman there with her daughter who came from Canada just to see him for treatment. I have so much trust in this incredible neurologist who has brought me back from the brink.

Dr. Shankle has been patient, helpful and understanding. I most appreciate that he listens to me and works with me.
Brilliant
Have not yet spoken toDr Shankle . But he spoke to my daughter and told her that the results from my M R I showed I had a stroke or something on the upper part of my brain on the left side . I do not know why he didn`t call me and tell me. I had an auto accident on March 19th and an air bag attacked me from my car, could that have caused the problem with my brain . Carol Klein
I’m not happy with the cost of continuing to see him.
I had an appointment for cognitive testing and vital signs and review of medications, which were done efficiently with little waiting time. My husband and I then met with Dr. Shankle. He was very courteous, was positive about my cognitive health, and took the time to ask questions and receive questions and answers, and to explain further tests that he then ordered. It was a good yearly review.
I have been going to see Dr Shankle now for about 4 years. My mother died from Alzheimer’s and since it is an inherited disease I asked my GP for a reference to a neurologist. She recommended Dr Shankle located in Newport Beach. He is a world renowned necrologist. I got tested and found out I had the gene. Through his treatment I’ve been able to stave off the worst symptoms of Alzheimer’s and have been able to live a normal life. One time I was sitting in his waiting room and got to talking to another person who was there with her mother. They were from Canada. They asked for a neurological referral and their dr recommended Dr Shankle. Just Google him and you’ll see the excellent reviews. I highly recommend him.
