I am an empathetic and caring counselor who works to establish a safe, non-judgemental atmosphere for clients to express themselves openly. My practice is based on the ideals of active listening, honesty and collaboration, as I assist clients in articulating and understanding their thoughts and feelings. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Strength based techniques, I help clients identify effective coping techniques for dealing with challenges and additionally facilitate an opportunity for self-understanding and personal growth. My goal is to support people in taking responsibility for their healing process through resilience and self-forgiveness. I respect each client's unique life experience and perspective and adjust my style to their individual needs. In a relatable and organized therapeutic process, I assist clients in discovering purpose, empowered coping skills and sparked belief in their abilities to deal with the challenges of life. I am aiming to build a consistent relationship based on trust and mutual respect, to gain understanding, heal and inspire enduring change!
