MY FAVORITE DR! Dr Vazquez really cares about his patients & will jump thru hoops of fire for them. I went to ER on December 16, 2025, where he is on duty, & he ckd in on me b4 I was even admitted, & followed thru to my discharge.Show more The day I was discharged, he had an oxygen assist unot for my cpap machine ordered, & it showed up next day. I'm HAPPY to b one of his patients. My Wife is now a patient at his practice. Had a GREAT follow up today, & he's trying me on some more helpful meds for my condition. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE & THEIR AWESOME FRIENDLY & COURTEOUS STAFF!

Zael Vazquez, MD, is board-certified in critical care medicine, pulmonary disease, and internal medicine. He is proud to provide state-of-the-art medical care to the North and West Broward communities at Pulmonary Care Clinics in Cooper City, Florida.
Dr. Vazquez completed a residency in internal medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he received special training in the management of patients with complex pulmonary problems such as pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung diseases, and COPD.
He went on to pursue an advanced fellowship in thoracic transplantation at Temple University. He currently serves as the Chief of Pulmonary Medicine at Memorial Hospital Pembroke and Chief of Respiratory Services at Select Specialty Hospital.
He prides himself on providing excellent patient care in a compassionate, competent, confident, and communicative manner. Dr. Vazquez is fluent in the Spanish language. He enjoys cycling, physical fitness, and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Dr. Vazquez and his team continue to give 1st rate care and attention. It doesn’t matter what I am dealing with or if the doctor is short on time, He continually gives me the attention and does not leave the room unless I am good with everything we discuss. From the ladies who answer the phone to the ones in the background that we hardly see, I have never seen an office run so perfectly. That’s if perfection does exist
Waiting is too long. I have appointment at 3:p.m I waiting 3 hours
