Are you feeling overwhelmed by anxiety that seems to follow you everywhere? Does stress feel like a constant companion making even simple tasks feel impossible? Maybe you're watching your teen struggle with academic pressures, and you're both feeling lost about where to turn for help.
I'm Jill Robinson and I understand exactly how isolating these feelings can be. As a nurse practitioner specializing in mental health at Lewis Family Psychiatry in Wellington, Florida I've walked alongside countless individuals and families who thought they had to carry these burdens alone.
You Don't Have to Feel This Way Forever
When anxiety keeps you up at night, when stress makes your heart race, or when depression feels like a heavy blanket you can't shake off--these aren't just "things you have to live with." Whether you're dealing with concentration problems that makes focus impossible, postpartum saddness that's stolen your joy, or autism related challenges that feel overwhelming, there's hope for real relief.
A Different Kind ofCare
What I've learned in my 28+ years of practice is that healing happens when we treat you as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms. My approach to Integrative Psychiatry means I listen to your story--really listen. Together, we'll explore not just what you're experiencing, but what might be contributing to it.
Sometimes that means that medication can be part of your healing journey. Other times, it might be supplements, lifestyle changes or therapy approaches that help you reclaim your life. The beautiful thing is, we get to figure this out together, at your pace.
Especially for Families
Parents, I see you trying so hard to help your struggling teen. The sleepless nights wondering if you're doing enough, the frustration of watching anxiety steal their confidence--I understand because I've helped so many families just like yours find their way back to connection and peace.
My dream began at Florida Atlantic University where I poured myself into earning both my undergraduate and master's degrees in nursing. My calling was clear from the start, to care for families and make a real difference in their lives through family practice.
But life has a beautiful way of expanding our purpose, doesn't it? My heart was drawn deeper into the world of mental health, leading me to Florida State University where I earned my post-master's certificate in psychiatry. This was where I discovered my true passion, walking alongside people in their most vulnerable moments.
Your Journey Starts Here
Building trust is everything to me. In our work together, you'll find a safe space where your experiences matter, where you're heard without judgment and where we collaborate on creating a path forward that feels right for you.
You deserve to wake up feeling hopeful again. Your teen deserves to experience joy without the constant weight of worry. Your family deserves to feel connected and supported. Let's take this step together.
Start Your Journey Today
I believe in meeting every person where you are, designing each treatment plan to your unique life story. Are you watching your child struggle with overwhelming worry that keeps them from enjoying life? Does your teenager seem lost in saddness, withdrawing from family and friends? Are behavioral challenges turning your home into battleground, leaving you feeling helpless and exhausted?
I see you. I understand the sleepless nights spent worrying, the countless searches for answers, and the fear that you're somehow failing your child. You're not alone in this journey, and more importantly--there is hope.
Finding Peace through Whole Person Care
I'm Melissa Neill, and I've dedicated 28 years to walking alongside families just like yours. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Lewis Family Psychiatry in Wellington, Florida, I specialize in helping children and teens find relief from worry, saddness, problems concentrating, and behavioral challenges that feel impossible to navigate.
But here's what makes my approach different: I don't just treat symptoms--I see your whole child. When worry keeps your daughter up at night, we explore not just medications, but also nutrition, sleep patterns, and coping strategies. When your son's saddness makes getting out of bed feel impossible, we consider therapy, lifestyle changes, supplements, and yes, sometimes medication--but always a part of a comprehensive plan tailored specifically for him.
A Global Perspective on Healing
My journey began in South Africa, continued through England, and brought me here to serve families in Florida. This international experience has taught me that healing happens differently for every child, and cultural understanding plays a vital role in creating genuine connection and trust.
I believe in meeting you exactly where you are--whether you're terrified of medication, frustrated with previous treatments, or simply don't know where to start. There's no judgment here, only compassion and a commitment to finding what works for your unique family.
Your Child's Potential is Still There
That bright, joyful child you remember? They're still there, waiting to emerge beneath the weight of their struggles. Together, we'll create a safe space where healing can begin--where your child feels heard, understood, and empowered to reclaim their life.
Mental health isn't just about managing conditions; it's about nurturing resilience, fostering connection, and helping your family rediscover balance and hope.
If you're ready to take the next step toward relief, I'm here to walk this path with you.
