Dr. Yalvac received his Bachelor of Arts in economics and math, graduating cum laude. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in Galveston. He then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Afterward, Dr. Yalvac completed a general cardiology fellowship at the Tulane University Heart and Vascular Institute before completing an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of California, San Diego.

Parham Parto, MD, MPH, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist at Parto Heart & Vascular in Los Angeles and Newport Beach, California, providing care for patients throughout Southern California. Dr. Parto is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine.

A Southern California native, Dr. Parto grew up in Irvine, attending the University of California, Irvine for his Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with a minor in educational studies. He then completed his Master of Public Health in health administration at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California.

Ray Wyman, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in general cardiology, internal medicine, interventional cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease. An experienced cardiologist with more than 20 years in his field, Dr. Wyman serves the community of Los Angeles at COR Healthcare Medical Associates in Torrance, California.

Dr. Wyman earned his medical doctorate from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore before completing his internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the same city. Dr. Wyman developed an interest in cardiology early in his career and later completed dual cardiology fellowships through Boston’s Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Dr. Azam earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Sang Yong Ji, MD, is a board-certified adult cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist at COR Healthcare in Torrance, California. His board certification also includes internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography.

Dr. Ji was born in South Korea and moved to Paraguay during his junior high school year. He earned his medical degree from Asunción National University, Paraguay. He then moved to New York City to complete internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine before completing a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated as the Best Resident of the year and with Program director's award & Chief of Division award from internal medicine residency program and cardiology fellowship program respectively. He also served as chief fellow at both Montefiore cardiology fellowship program and Johns Hopkins University cardiac electrophysiology fellowship program. Dr. Kwan earned his medical doctorate at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at LAC+USC Medical Center / Keck Hospital of USC. 

He has been certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease, in addition to subspecialty boards of Echocardiography, Cardiovascular CT, Nuclear Cardiology, and Vascular Interpretation. Nadia Jafar Curran, MD, is a board-certified internist and cardiologist at COR Healthcare Medical Associates. She specializes in women’s cardiovascular disease, general cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.

Dr. Curran earned her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, where she received the Gilda Lipton Memorial Award for compassionate care and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then moved to San Francisco to complete her internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). During her training, Dr. Curran developed a curriculum that focused on women’s heart disease while researching lifestyle interventions in postpartum women with pregnancy complications. This research resulted in multiple presentations and publications, and informed the most recent guidelines on adverse pregnancy outcomes and cardiovascular disease.

As a triple diplomate with the American Board, Erol Kosar, MD, holds board certifications in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular diseases, and internal medicine. At COR Healthcare Medical Associates in Los Angeles, Dr. Kosar proudly brings his 30 years of experience to patients of all ages at the practice’s location in Torrance, California.

He is also certified by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE). 

After earning his medical doctorate at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia in 1989, Dr. Kosar completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh in 1992. He later received additional training through a cardiology and electrophysiology fellowship at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Kosar served as a full-time assistant professor of medicine at USC.
