Dr. Erol Kosar performed a cryo-ablation procedure on April 9th, 2024. It has been over two weeks since the procedure and my heart has been in normal sinus rhythm since the procedure, with no detection of atrial fibrillation (AfibShow more). My story leading up to the cryo-ablation procedure: I’ve been using the Apple Watch 8 to detect Afib since I was diagnosed with Paroxysmal Afib on April 25, 2023. In May, 2023, I tried Metoprolol to reduce my heart rate but I would still get Afib. Then I tried Amiodarone to alter my heart rhythm but my heart reacted to that drug which put me in V-Tach and ended up in emergency. Then I began reading and researching of how to reduce Afib. I changed my lifestyle dramatically. The first thing I did was begin a healthy diet, including low calorie and low sodium and lean meats, magnesium, Chinese herbs to treat Afib, and cut out all caffeine or alcohol. I increased my daily exercise of cardio and weight lifting. I even tried acupuncture, massage and yoga and surrounded myself within a stress free environment and calming music, and made sure I got plenty of sleep. I lost 10 pounds and felt great but I would still get episodes of Afib at least 2% to 10% of the time. But then after six months, the amount of time I was in Afib increased from 2% to 50% gradually over the next 6 months. That was when I decided to have a Cryo-ablation as a last resort attempt. Dr. Kosar told me there was an 80% chance the ablation procedure would stop the Afib. Even though this ablation procedure is minimally invasive, there are always risks. But Dr. Kosar said there is nothing to worry about. I will admit I was deathly afraid of that or any heart procedure, but I also knew I had one of the best electrocardiologists with plenty of credentials, training and years of experience, and he was also highly recommended by other doctors and his patients. So I decided to go for it, and I am so glad I did. Thank you so much Dr. Kosar. I highly recommend Dr. Kosar for electro cardio procedures.
Dr. French has served as my family doctor for well over 20 years. He clearly has a busy practice, but manages to work effectively and efficiently with the available time. He asks good questions, and listens to the answers. He Show moreis proactive in recommending vaccinations and/or lifestyle changes to head off future problems. He makes effective use of computerized records, and makes sure I get copies of everything relevant. In addition, his office/medical staff is responsive and professional. The office itself is clean and surprisingly roomy. I am not sure that Dr. French is accepting new patients. If he is, I recommend that you sign up.

Roomed promptly. Friendly and efficient MA. Doc spent an adequate amount of time discussing my condition and treatment options/recommendations. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is this is what a visit is supposed to be like....very good but not profound.
Very good I consider Dr Kosar a friend. Not only a friend but a great cardiologist!!
