Heart disease runs in my family—my grandmother passed away at a young age, my mother has heart disease and a pacemaker, and I am living with mild heart failure myself. Having a doctor I trust completely is not optional—it’s essential. Dr. Castleman has been both my cardiologist and my mom’s, and I truly believe we are in the best possible hands. He is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly brilliant at what he does, but what sets him apart is how much he genuinely cares. He’s honest, straightforward, and doesn’t sugarcoat things—but he delivers the truth with compassion, kindness, and respect. My allergy Doctor Ziegner checked me into Torrance Memorial because Dr. Jackson was away from his office. The staff at the hospital were very pleasant and I was released after several hours. I was able to meet with Dr. Jackson on Friday and discuss my situation. I am now on a heart monitor for two weeks. His staff was also helpful. In a few weeks my problems will be researched and I will have some answers and feel better too.
