I usually always give 5 stars. People there are always very nice.. and I always feel the “personal touch” they’re striving for.. I enjoy seeing (and talking with) Dr. Matchison twice a year and never feel rushed.. he takes the tiShow moreme to hear me out and he answers all my questions clearly. I was met this time with his nurse practitioner (a person I’ve never met before and has no idea of my history..). She answered all my questions with very complicated medical jargon.. and spent most of her time (what felt like) her trying to push me towards two new drugs.. (goodbye, “personal touch”). Dr. Matchison did come in later and after he left, I recalled a question that I had forgotten to ask him. The Nurse practitioner asked me what it was (as to not bother the doctor) and took charge of trying to answer it .. but she did not really answer it. I could tell she seemed bothered by the question she couldn’t answer, so I let it go. I suppose that’s my fault.. I should’ve written down my questions for Dr. Matchison. Very sorry for the 4 stars. Not my favorite visit.
My experience was very good. Short wait, nice support staff, nice appointment with Dr. Matchison. He was friendly, patient, and answered my questions. However, I am going to take this opportunity to try to clarify a couple of tShow morehings about my procedure, if the Dr. is willing. I have read on the Net that there appears to be considerable controversy about the relative benefit of nuclear stress testing (the test the Dr. chose for me) and a coronary CT angiograms (CCTA). The majority opinion on the Net seems to be that CCTAs are currently regarded as the preferred test, giving better short term and long term benefits, and that they are replacing nuclear stress testing as the first line test for most patients, especially in Europe, but also here. This seems to have started based on a study performed around 2015, but I found nothing current to overturn this. Based on most of what I read, it seems that the CCTA can give more accurate results more quickly and with less radiation risk. Regards.

Dr. Matchison is caring, pleasant and patient. He explains my situation to me and gives me plenty of time to ask questions. I feel comfortable and confident under his care.
Dr. Matchinson is an approachable person who, puts one as ease as you first walk into the examination room. Its apparent that he studied your health history and is ready to hear any concerns you may have. He's knowledgeable in his field and will offer advise on how you cant improve your health. He also makes it clear that he's always available for any future concerns.

Met with Dr. Matchison to discuss post-surgery concerns. I was seen within one hour of calling in. Dr. M answered all my questions and assured me that my concerns were typical of issues that follow the procedure that i experienced. I left appreciative and relieved.

Fantastic doctor and person. Great listener and cares about his patients l!
Dr. Matchison performed my TAVR procedure and everything went smoothly. He is very professional and personal who answered all my questions. His staff is great and the wait time is pretty quick. Highly recommend him and this office.
This was my first visit with a cardiologist in the South Bay. Reception on both check in & out was friendly and expeditious. Gaby took my vitals and visit purpose with warmth and professionalism. Both Dr. Matchison & his NP Clarissa had fantastic bedside manner, were very knowledgeable, listened with care, answered all questions and were clear in the next steps of my care.
all smooth with good staff
on time, efficient, thorough
Dr. Matchison is the absolute best doctor!!! He’s so knowledgeable and is able to communicate technical medical terms to my understanding. He has an excellent patient/doctor demeanor that facilitates comfortable dialogue. I have also heard similar comments from another patient (through my husband) that he was.feeling great and that he had the best doctor!

Arrived 10 minutes before scheduled appt and was greeted by very friendly and courteous receptionist and had only a minimal wait time before being called to the back . saw Dr Matchison, who is always concerned for our well-being. Thank you all. We hope to see you again next year!

Dr. Matchinson is great
Professional, concise, efficient. Thank you
I went to a yearly check up. He explained why I was having some pain which thanks God was not my heart. But he warned me of my high cholesterol which my primary doctor did not advise me.
Dr.M saved my life and continues to provide highly engaged ongoing care for me.
Dr. Matchison provides my Dad the best care possible. He is very personable and treats his patients with dignity and respect. -Michael Sais
From the staff in the front office, to Gabby and Dr. Matchison, everyone is so welcoming, helpful, positive and professional. I don't like going to Dr. appointments because they happen way too often at this point in my life, but Dr. Matchison and his staff make it an easy and comfortable experience.
great
Great first visit, everyone was aweome
Very friendly, professional staff.
Explained everything that was going on with my heart, an how we fix what's wrong
Knowledgeable
Very pleased with front office staff and Dr Matchison
Dr. Matchinson listened to my concerns and family history of heart issues. Therefore, after requesting for a EKG , which my former cardio doctor use to do, he quickly had one done which put me at ease to ensure I did not have a long QT syndrome which runs in my family. Note, I lost a brother of 49 years old due to a massive heart attack and a cousin age 20 years old due to heart failure.
Dr Matchison explained the results of my Echo Cardiogram in a very positive manner. He also described the way he would like me to take my blood pressure. He had his staff set up my next appointments.
Very caring person
