Emma Stapleton, MSPAS, PA-C is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in cardiology care at COR Healthcare Medical Associates. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology from University of Oregon and then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. Ms. Stapleton, who focuses on disease prevention and promoting healthy lifestyles, completed over a year of clinical clerkship in multiple fields of medicine in various medical centers and private practices throughout Wichita Falls, Texas. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Prior to obtaining her Masters degree, Emma worked at COR Healthcare’s San Pedro and Torrance offices as a Medical Assistant, Research Coordinator, and Medical Scribe. She is very excited to return to COR Healthcare Medical Associates and continue providing outstanding patient care with a dynamic practice committed to research, collaboration, and evidence based medicine.
When she is not taking care of patients, Emma enjoys spending time with her fiancé and dog, exploring the South Bay, gardening, and going to the beach.

Dr Bauer and his PA Ellen were very thorough during my recent 6 month check up for on going arrhythmia and shortness of breath problems. I appreciate the three way collaboration on developing diagnostic measures and possible treatment plans. All of the orders concerning medication, lab work and tests were issued within a day. Thank you for your completeness and concern for patient care.
Dr. Kwan is a very good doctor. He takes real good care of me and I can feel his genuine concern for my well being. He explains things clearly and addresses all questions and concerns always. The entire staff are also commendable. Everyone is very warm and accommodating. I never feel hurried up or stressed at all every time I come to this clinic/office. I highly recommend Dr. Kwan, a cardiologist with a good heart.
