Dr. Sarsam received his medical education at the University of Baghdad / College of Medicine in Iraq. Following the second Gulf War, he moved to the United States and attended the Wayne State University / Detroit Medical Center where he completed his Internal Medicine Residency. He then completed his fellowship in General and Interventional Cardiology at Michigan State University / Providence Providence-Park Hospitals in Detroit, MI. Dr. Sarsam also specializes in advanced heart failure.
