Dr. Ahuja earned his degree at Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated with Phi Beta Kappa academic honors. He did his medical residency and chief residency at New York University Medical Center in New York. Dr. Ahuja did a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, and completed his research in long QT syndrome.
After his fellowship, Dr. Ahuja decided to further his training and attend another fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at NYU Medical Center in New York. He has board certifications in cardiovascular disease and in clinical cardiac electrophysiology from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
With years of training and experience, Dr. Ahuja specializes in electrophysiology. He is an expert in all aspects of his chosen field, including heart surgeries to restore normal heart rhythm and surgery to implant a variety of cardiac devices like loop recorders, pacemakers, and cardiac defibrillators, among others.
