Amer Zarka, MD, is a general and interventional cardiologist and managing partner at Good Heart Medical Group, Inc. in Santa Ana and Garden Grove, California. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is certified in advanced cardiopulmonary life support.
Dr. Zarka completed his internship and residency at Jordan University Hospital in Amman, Jordan. He then pursued postgraduate medical training at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, where he studied internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology.
Prior to Good Heart Medical Group, Inc., Dr. Zarka was the Director of Pacemaker Service, Co-Director of Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and Director of Cardiology Hyperlipidemia Clinic at VA Medical Center in Long Beach, California. He also served as the assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.
