“Michelle is more than a therapist she is your cheerleader and someone who really wants to see you be the best you possible!! I have grown so much and also been finally honest with myself and with others. She will have you work so if you do not want to work on yourself and someone who is honest this is not the best therapist for you!! For me I wanted growth and understanding of how to change. She has many modalities she uses and can pull from in a session. Michelle is one of my favorites!!”
I am a retired Major in the United States Army with 23 years of military service. I have dedicated my career to supporting soldiers and their families.
I believe everyone deserves to live a life of peace, purpose, and positivity. My commitment is to help you get there. I have spent the past few years helping children and adolescents work through serious mental, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. With tailored treatment plans, each youth and family unit achieved their individual goals. As well as having the opportunity to work within a military-specific treatment program designed to meet the complex needs of active-duty service members with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), including substance abuse and other behavioral health issues. The program aimed to build resilience in soldiers through consistent leader engagement and innovative coping mechanisms.
My civilian education includes a master's in counseling and, currently, a PhD student in Psychological Studies.
