She received her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Neuroscience before she attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Shortly after, she completed an Advanced Education of General Dentistry Residency at the University of Connecticut. Although her formal education has come to a close, Dr. Coutts believes in the never-ending advancement of knowledge through continued education courses.
Dr. Coutts is a Boston native. When she is not in the office, she enjoys taking trips to New England to visit family and friends. She loves to try new restaurants/cuisines, travel, and spend time with her loyal canine companion, Zoey.

He is a Georgia native who completed his undergraduate studies at Young Harris College before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. His passion for dentistry was inspired early on by his uncle, the first dentist in his family. Now the sixth dentist in his family, Dr. Eden continues that legacy, focusing on providing exceptional care in a welcoming and professional environment.
Dr. Eden is committed to making dental visits as comfortable and stress-free as possible. He believes in educating his patients about their oral health so they can make informed decisions and take an active role in their care. Known for his attention to detail and compassionate approach, he strives to create a positive experience for every patient, whether they’re in for a routine checkup or more complex dental work.
Outside of the office, Dr. Eden enjoys hiking, discovering new restaurants in the area, and unwinding with his two cats, who never fail to keep him entertained.
Sumeen Maur, DMD, is a skilled general and cosmetic dentist practicing at Nova Dental Partners in Alexandria, Woodbridge and Fairfax, Virginia.
Dr. Maur grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, where she attended Furman University, obtaining her undergraduate degree in economics. During her time there, Dr. Maur was introduced to the field of dentistry while volunteering at a free dental clinic. She then chose to shadow local dentists in order to discover more about the basics of dentistry and the importance of the patient-doctor relationship.
Dr. Maur’s interest in dentistry led her to enroll at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine. After completing her studies, Dr. Maur attended the University of Florida in St. Petersburg for further training and earned certification for Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
Dr. Maur provides gentle yet effective dentistry services to patients at Nova Dental Partners. As a member of the highly skilled team of providers, Dr. Maur is committed to helping each patient achieve their optimal oral health.
In her free time, Dr. Maur enjoys reading, hanging out with family and friends, and exploring the city. She also enjoys traveling when she gets the chance.
Kamran Tavakkoli, DMD is a skilled family and cosmetic dentist practicing at Nova Dental Partners in Alexandria, Woodbridge and Fairfax, Virginia.
Dr. Tavakkoli earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2002. He also received training at the prestigious Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Studies, where he studied under a large faculty of senior practicing dentists from around the world. He is a dedicated professional and regularly pursues continuing education. He is currently working on his postgraduate degree in aesthetic dentistry from the University of Minnesota.
