Ronald R. Brancaccio, MD, founded the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®) in 1979. He diagnoses and treats a wide variety of skin conditions at SINY’s® three offices in the West Village of New York City and the Bay Ridge and Park Slope areas of Brooklyn, New York.
After earning his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Brancaccio completed an internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He then completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Brancaccio is board-certified in dermatology, and he is a clinical professor at New York University School of Medicine in New York City. When he’s not tending to patients at SINY® or teaching future dermatologists, he lectures on dermatology-related topics and has authored more than 40 scholarly publications, primarily on the subject of skin allergies.

Sydney Coscia is a dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. Sydney earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant (MSPA) degree from St. John’s University in June 2024, where she built a strong clinical foundation and a deep commitment to patient-centered care.
Her passion for dermatology grew from a desire to help patients feel confident in their own skin, addressing both medical and cosmetic concerns with compassion and expertise. Sydney is particularly drawn to the field’s unique combination of procedural work and long-term patient relationships, which allows her to witness meaningful, lasting improvements in her patients’ health and well-being.

Angela Azar, MD, is a skilled and practiced Board-Certified Dermatologist specializing in Aesthetic Dermatology and Pediatric and Adult Dermatology at Angela Azar, MD. She grew up in Southern California and graduated as a Presidential and Renaissance scholar from the University of Southern California. She subsequently moved to New York to earn her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College. During medical school, she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and a recipient of the Glasgow-Rubin Memorial Achievement Award honoring select women for academic achievement.
Dr. Shah completed her internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and her dermatology residency at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. In her final year, she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, she completed subspecialty fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, and reconstructive surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medicine. She then became Director of Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Northwell-Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Shah's primary clinical focus is the management of skin cancers including squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, early-stage melanoma, and rare cutaneous tumors. Brendan Camp, MD, is double board-certified in dermatology and dermatopathology and sees patients at MDCS Dermatology: Medical Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, which has locations in Upper East Side, Hampton Bays, Commack, Smithtown, Plainview, and Midtown East of Manhattan, New York. Patients have been coming to him for his expertise managing medical conditions like acne, rosacea, eczema, warts, psoriasis, moles, and skin cancer, as well as cosmetic concerns and treatments with Botox®, fillers, lasers, and other skin rejuvenation devices.
Dr. Camp graduated with honors from Cornell University, earning a degree in biochemistry. As a medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, he participated in a one-year epidemiology fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia, where he participated in viral outbreak investigations. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago and later completed additional residency training in dermatology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
