Dr. Allen N. Sapadin graduated summa cum laude from Yeshiva Univeristy and received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Prior to accepting a research fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Sapadin attended Rutgers Law School and graduated with honors. 

He returned to Mount Sinai to complete a dermatology residency and served as Chief Resident in his third year. While a resident he earned many awards, including election to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society. Each year this honor is bestowed upon three of six hundred residents at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Philip Fried, MD, is the medical director at West Derm Center, which he originally founded in 1991.
