Ronald R. Brancaccio, MD, founded the Skin Institute of New York (SINY®) in 1979. He diagnoses and treats a wide variety of skin conditions at SINY’s® three offices in the West Village of New York City and the Bay Ridge and Park Slope areas of Brooklyn, New York.

After earning his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Brancaccio completed an internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He then completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Brancaccio is board-certified in dermatology, and he is a clinical professor at New York University School of Medicine in New York City. When he’s not tending to patients at SINY® or teaching future dermatologists, he lectures on dermatology-related topics and has authored more than 40 scholarly publications, primarily on the subject of skin allergies.

Dr. Marc Avram is a Harvard-trained board certified dermatologist and hair loss specialist, practicing in the Upper East Side of New York City. Monica Schadlow, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist at MDCS Dermatology: Medical Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, who has been providing general and cosmetic dermatology care to patients of Manhattan since 2001. Carolyn Stull, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon. She treats the full spectrum of dermatologic conditions and specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, surgical reconstruction following skin cancer removal, and facial aesthetics.

Dr. Stull is originally from Philadelphia and served as an Instructor of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania prior to joining MDCS. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Stull completed dermatology residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago where she served as chief resident. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Michael Tassavor, MD, MS, is a board-certified dermatologist and attending physician at MDCS: Medical Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery with offices in the Midtown East and Upper East Side neighborhoods of New York City, as well as Smithtown, Commack, Hampton Bays, and Plainview, New York, and Clifton, Marlboro, and Englewood, New Jersey.

Faith earned her Master of Medical Science from Yale School of Medicine and completed her clinical training within the Yale New Haven Health System. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston.

As a PA student, Faith served as the Connecticut PA Foundation Chair and a Jack Cole Society Student Officer for her cohort. She was also involved in research and received the Outstanding Thesis Award through the Yale School of Medicine Physician Associate Program in 2024.

Faith is a Houston native, and in her free time enjoys dancing, baking, hiking, and supporting local restaurants. You can usually find her at a concert or a musical in the city, or exploring New England with her husband.

Deirdre Cannon, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant providing high-quality care to patients at Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Derby and Trumbull, Connecticut. 

Deirdre received her bachelor’s degree in health science from Quinnipiac University in 2004, followed by her master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2006 from the same university.

Deirdre has been working in private practice dermatology since 2006. She joined Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in 2014 and enjoys treating a wide array of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, and skin cancer. At the practice, Deirdre aims to educate her patients on general skin health and skin cancer prevention. 

Philanthropy is very important to Deirdre. She has spent time in both Kenya, as well as India, providing diagnosis and treatment of dermatology conditions in rural communities, education to community members, and training the local clinicians to be able to diagnose and treat. 

Deirdre is also an adjunct professor in the physician assistant program at Quinnipiac University.

Jason Wilder, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist. At Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Trumbull and Westport, Connecticut, he provides patients with compassionate and effective care. 

Dr. Wilder graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in biology. He trained at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his internship at Suncoast Hospital. Dr. Wilder completed his residency in dermatology at St. Barnabas Hospital.  

He has written several articles and has been a guest lecturer for the past 10 years. Dr. Wilder is on-staff at Bridgeport Hospital and the clinical instructor of dermatology at Yale University. 

Dr. Wilder is the father of two boys and enjoys working with children and adults. He truly enjoys working with the adolescent population and has one of the largest acne practices in Connecticut. 

Dr. Wilder is also one of the leading cosmetic dermatologists in Fairfield County. He specializes in cosmetic dermatology and is an expert in Botox®, Juvéderm®, laser treatment of blood vessels, and hair removal. 

He has guided patients for years on the newest and best cosmetic products to prevent aging and skin cancer. Dr. Wilder also performs skin cancer screenings and treats various skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, and warts.

Lisa Gavronsky, PA-C is a licensed Physician Assistant and 2014 Cum Laude graduate of Touro College's masters PA program. She also earned a BS in Marketing from Rutgers Business School.

Alexander Fogel, MD, is a highly-skilled dermatologist serving patients at Adult & Pediatric Dermatology Specialists in Trumbull and Westport, Connecticut.

Dr. Fogel is double board certified in both Dermatology and Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (a.k.a. Mohs). He heads our surgical and reconstructive dermatology practice, which encompasses Mohs surgery, as well surgery for melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and benign lesions, such as lipomas and cysts. 

Dr. Fogel was educated and trained at Caltech, Stanford, and Yale. He remains a clinical faculty member at the Yale University Department of Dermatology, and is responsible for educating dermatologists in training. He is also an accomplished researcher, with more than 50 published articles, chapters, and presentations at venues that include the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Journal of the American Medical Association, the New England Journal of Medicine Catalyst, the Harvard Business Review, and the Wall Street Journal. He has also served as an investigator for multiple clinical trials, ranging from pharmaceutical to basic science research. 

Dr. Fogel has received numerous national and local honors and awards, including the President's Volunteer Service Award, the Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society Award, the Yale Hospital All for One Award, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Scholarship. He has received grants from the American Skin Association and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and he is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Royal Society of Medicine, and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.

Clinically, Dr. Fogel's interests are broad and include medical, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. During medical school at Stanford, he founded a free clinic for patients without health insurance and maintained a longitudinal pediatric dermatology clinic. During residency at Yale, Dr. Fogel was the resident lead for surgical, procedural, and cosmetic dermatology, managing resident education in these areas. 

Outside of work, Dr. Fogel is happily married and has three children. He loves exploring New England, partaking in the culture of our nearby cities, and working on his small farm.
