Joseph Onorato, MD, FAAD, has over 25 years of experience practicing dermatology and is board-certified. In 1995, Dr. Onorato founded All Island Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Laser Center, which now serves Glen Cove and Garden City, New York.

A graduate of Duke University Medical School, Dr. Burk served for many years as Head of the Division of Dermatology at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where he continues to instruct residents and fellows as a volunteer teaching attending.
Dr. Burk was also an assistant professor and co-director of the Dermatology Training Program at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Burk received postgraduate training at top-tier institutions, including Harvard Medical School, the University of Pittsburgh, and the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where he conducted research on DNA repair mechanisms.
Prior to coming to West Derm Center, Dr. Burk had a private practice in Riverdale, NY, where he took care of patients for more than 25 years. Currently working out of our Yonkers office, he continues to enjoy and find satisfaction in caring for his patients, old and new.
