Having spent his formative years in diverse regions such as South America, the Caribbean, and the Pacific Northwest, Dr. La Grotta has cultivated a unique perspective. His focus on Primary Care and Urgent Care stems from a seamless blend of practical experience and scientific knowledge.

Erin is an experienced social worker and mental health professional with extensive experience in both private practice and group practice settings. She received her Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University in 1998 and has over 20 years’ experience spanning school social work, substance abuse, and art therapy. Erin is passionate about the beach and spending time with her family, and when she’s not working, you can find her hiking, gardening, making crafts, and watching sports.

Neha Maheshwari, MD is a board-certified family physician at Primary Care Walk-In Medical Clinic located in Fountain Hills, Arizona. Dr. Maheshwari has more than 15 years of experience specializing in pediatrics, women’s health, and primary care. 

Dr. Maheshwari earned her medical degree in 2003 from Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India, and completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Missouri Department of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri. She also holds a master’s degree in business administration healthcare management.

Robert Claflin, DO, CAQSM, is a primary care and sports medicine doctor. He serves patients at HealthyU Clinics at our Gilbert and Chandler, Arizona, clinics. 

Dr. Claflin started his training in the health field at Arizona State University in Tempe, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in exercise and wellness. In 2017, he graduated from Midwestern Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. 

In 2020, Dr. Claflin completed his family medicine residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, South Carolina, and his sports medicine fellowship in 2021. 

Including treating patients of all ages, he has worked with high school, collegiate division I, and professional athletes throughout his training and in practice in the sports medicine field. In 2021, he returned to Arizona to work in private practice family medicine and sports medicine. 

Dr. Claflin joined HealthyU Clinics in 2022. In his free time, he enjoys exercising, trying out new restaurants, traveling, going to the movies, and spending time with friends and family. 

Dr. Locnikar is a board-certified physician who has dedicated the last 10 years of his medical practice to Addiction Medicine. Dr. Locnikar's career began as an ear, nose, and throat surgeon. He later specialized in facial plastic surgery, where he practiced for over 10 years. During that time, he developed a substance addiction that ultimately consumed his personal and professional life. After successfully completing extensive drug and alcohol treatment, he returned to the practice of medicine. He has since dedicated his personal and professional life to the treatment of others suffering from similar addictions. This special blend of personal experience and extensive medical/surgical knowledge has allowed him to provide his patients with the very best care in medical addiction treatment.
