Frank Lee, MD, is a family and emergency medicine physician with decades of experience. Melita Williams, MD, is a board-certified family and integrative medicine specialist practicing at Healing Hands Holistic Health in Plano, Texas. She offers patient-focused care for patients between the ages of 4-90. Her patients appreciate that she takes time to listen and answer questions about their conditions and treatment options. 

Dr. Williams has an extensive medicine-focused educational background. She graduated from the DeBakey High School for Health Professions in Houston, before earning her Bachelor of Science in pre-med/chemistry from the Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans. 

Returning to Texas, Dr. Williams then earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She served her family medicine residency at Christus Hospital - St. Elizabeth in Beaumont, Texas. 

Dr. Williams has a lifelong interest in medicine, specifically in identifying the conditions at the root of disruptive symptoms, after watching her mother live with the challenging health problems of systemic lupus. In addition to her conventional medical training, Dr. Williams has also studied alternative medicine at the Global College of Natural Medicine in Santa Cruz, California, and the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine in San Diego. She’s board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine, and she also successfully passed the board certification exam for integrative medicine offered by the American Board of Physician Specialties.

Michael V. Tran, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and certified wound care specialist in Arlington and Dallas, Texas. With 20 years of experience, Dr. Tran serves the Dallas-Ft. Worth & Arlington, using a broad range of innovative foot and ankles treatments. From everyday foot and ankle ailment and trauma to diabetic and wound care. 

Dr. Tran first completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. After graduating he enrolled in Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.  Upon graduation, Dr. Tran completed a three-year foot and ankle medicine and surgery residency in Pennsylvania and Ohio, where he treated thousands of complex foot and ankle disorders. Risha Kopel, MD is a board certified provider in Internal Medicine. She graduated from Brown Medical School and did her residency at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. She has done research in cardiology and obesity treatment.

She then completed her residency in family medicine in 1999 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, one of the most prestigious family medicine programs in the state of Texas. 

Dr. Randhawa chose medicine as her lifelong calling at a very early age when it became clear that she had a deep desire to help others, especially those who suffered from illness and disease. Throughout her medical training and career, she developed a deep interest in combining traditional, natural medicine with proven complementary and alternative methods for healing. Dr. Monica Ramirez is a Dallas native who has just completed her residency at UT Health San Antonio.  She is excited to be back in Dallas and thrilled to be joining Southwest Family Medicine Associates. 

Dr. Ramirez pursued Family Medicine as it allows her to form trusting and long-lasting relationships with patients and their family members. She is a strong believer of the “whole person” approach which is at the heart of family medicine and an advocate of education and preventive medicine.

 Sarah Ashitey, MD is board certified in Family Medicine and provides comprehensive care both for the individual and family. She brings a patient-centered personal touch into every encounter and believes that each patient’s unique story is central to the healing process and path to wholeness and wellbeing.

She obtained her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed her residency at the esteemed John Peter Smith Hospital residency program. She gets much joy in caring for those who are in need, and is known for her loving and compassionate bedside manners, especially when caring for the elderly. Her clinical emphasis is on managing hypertension and heart disease. Outside of work Dr Jaiswal enjoys spending time with family and friends.
