She received her Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University in 1998 and has over 20 years’ experience spanning school social work, substance abuse, and art therapy. Robert Claflin, DO, CAQSM, is a primary care and sports medicine doctor. He serves patients at HealthyU Clinics at our Gilbert and Chandler, Arizona, clinics.
Dr. Claflin started his training in the health field at Arizona State University in Tempe, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in exercise and wellness. In 2017, he graduated from Midwestern Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona.
In 2020, Dr. Claflin completed his family medicine residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, South Carolina, and his sports medicine fellowship in 2021.
Including treating patients of all ages, he has worked with high school, collegiate division I, and professional athletes throughout his training and in practice in the sports medicine field. In 2021, he returned to Arizona to work in private practice family medicine and sports medicine.
Dr. Claflin joined HealthyU Clinics in 2022. In his free time, he enjoys exercising, trying out new restaurants, traveling, going to the movies, and spending time with friends and family.

Neha Maheshwari, MD is a board-certified family physician at Primary Care Walk-In Medical Clinic located in Fountain Hills, Arizona. Dr. Maheshwari has more than 15 years of experience specializing in pediatrics, women’s health, and primary care.
