Dr Skinner, a life long resident of North Texas, graduated with honors from Abilene Christian University, with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree. Following medical school, he completed a residency in Family Medicine from Texas Tech Health Science Center in Lubbock. Dr. Izzy Azubuike graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in Galveston, Texas, in 2005. He completed his residency at the Methodist Health System Dallas, Texas, in 2008.

After finishing his formal education, Dr. Azubuike started initially as a hospitalist, seeing patients at various hospitals in Dallas area. She graduated cum laude from St. Edwards University in Austin with a Bachelor’s in Biology in 2017. After college, she spent her first postgraduate year working in the Emergency department and volunteering at rural clinics in Mexico and Peru.
