A Texas native, Dr. McCurley earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and completed his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He went on to complete his Family Medicine residency at St. Paul Hospital in Dallas, and has remained in the DFW area since 1988, faithfully serving generations of patients.

Dr. McCurley provides comprehensive primary care for adults and families, with extensive experience in managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and other common medical conditions, as well as acute illnesses and preventive care. He believes that listening well, investing time, and building trust with patients leads to better health outcomes and longer, healthier lives—a philosophy that aligns beautifully with the mission of Livingspring Family Medical Center.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. McCurley has participated in medical mission trips to Africa and Mexico, reflecting his heart for service and compassionate care beyond borders. He has been married to his wife, Pamela, for 28 years, and together they have three daughters. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and listening to music.

“Why do you care so much?“

That was the question he asked after I discussed the need to take his medications and make a few lifestyle changes.

He was asked to see me as a last resort.

“We all die eventually “ he continued.

I looked at him.

And paused.

That was a deep question.

“But there is a way to die. After living long and well. “ I responded.

I told him about the possibility of living well using the knowledge we have now to be able to fulfill his God-given purpose.

We then spoke about his dreams to own a fancier car and move to a smaller town.

Meet Dr Olabintan

Tolulope Olabintan, MD, DipABLM, FAAFP, DABoM or “Dr. O“ as she is fondly called by her patients, leads the medical team at Livingspring Family Medical Center, a primary care center located in Mansfield, Texas. She is a Board-Certified Family Physician, a board-certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She also completed a Women’s Health Fellowship and is a certified HIV specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine. She has over 18 years of medical experience.Dr. Olabintan is a life-enthusiast, a Christian, wife, and mom who enjoys good cuisine and can’t get enough of the colors teal and orange. She is a blogger, foodie, YouTuber, mentor, speaker and health advocate.

She and her husband Jimi Olabintan opened the doors to Livingspring Family Medical Center July, 26th 2021 to fulfill their vision of creating a center where sincere care meets wholesome care. Frank Lee, MD, is a family and emergency medicine physician with decades of experience. Dr. Lee earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Zapopan, Mexico, and New York Medical College in New York City. After graduation, he completed a residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin.

Karan Staggers is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). She is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University College of Nursing (BSN) and Walden University (MSN in Nursing) specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner. Karan is associated with A.L.M.S. Community Health Center, Inc in Grand Prairie, Texas where she is actively practicing as an FNP-C. Karan has been in nursing for greater than 25 years specializing in pediatric nursing, critical care nursing, and emergency medicine. She has been recognized as a Sigma Theta Tau international member for nurses. She was awarded the P.R.I.D.E. (Participation, Respect, Integrity, Diversity and Excellence) Values award for nursing by the University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago, Illinois for excellence in nursing. She has had a career interest in the health and well-being of the family since her inception of her career. Her focus is identifying disease, managing chronic illness, and educating patients about their health.

Brandi Burnett is a board certified family nurse practitioner with 6 years of experience all spent in community health. Brandi is a Master’s level graduate from the University of Texas at Arlington. She worked as a nurse for 8 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. She is a member of the American Associations of Nurse Practitioners and has a certificate in nurse education. Community health is her passion and where she feels she can make the biggest impact. Brandi is an East Texas native but resides in Dallas/Fort Worth area now with her husband and 3 children. Pradeep Parihar, MD has devoted his medical career to family medicine, with a subspecialty in sports medicine, to help patients at Express Family Clinic in Allen, Texas, lead long and active lives. Dr. Parihar earned his medical and surgical degrees at Shyam Shah Medical College in India and then traveled to the United States, where he completed his residency in family practice at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. Not stopping there, Dr. Parihar received a fellowship in primary care sports medicine from St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Harman P. Kaur, MD is a Board-Certified Physician who practices Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology at Belt Line Medical Clinic for patients in Mesquite, Garland, Forney, Sunnyvale, and the surrounding areas in the DFW Metroplex. Dr. Harman P. Kaur has trained at some of the best training programs in the country. Before coming to the US, she finished medical school at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India where she graduated in the Top 10% of her class. She completed her internship at the Internal Medicine Residency Program in Spokane, Washington (an affiliate of the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA) and then her Residency at SUNY-Buffalo Internal Medicine Residency Program in Buffalo, NY. Her Fellowship Training in Oncology was at the nationally - acclaimed Wilmot Cancer Institute in Rochester, NY. This experienced was followed with a Faculty Position at Roswell Park Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY before moving to the Dallas area with her family. She has also co-authored various book chapters in medical textbooks which are used in teaching programs across the country.

Dr. Kaur is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. In her free time, Dr. Kaur enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering time at the local Sikh Temple where she focuses on her faith, Sikhism.
