Born in Miami and raised in Melbourne Beach, Florida, Dr. Rowland earned a degree in Statistics from the University of Florida in 1986. He continued his education at the University of Florida College of Medicine before completing his family medicine residency in Tallahassee, Florida, in 1993. Furthering his expertise, he pursued a fellowship in sports medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, which he completed in 1994.

Dr. Rowland began his medical practice in Fort Lauderdale before relocating to Boca Raton in 1998. In 2000, he took over Boca General and Family Medicine, where he continues to provide comprehensive primary care services. In addition to his expertise in sports medicine, he has advanced training in men’s and women’s hormone therapy, anti-aging treatments, and office-based dermatology procedures.

Dr. Sasson E. Moulavi (Dr. Sass), MD is the Medical Director of Smart for Life™ Weight Management Centers headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida and graduate of the University of Toronto where he received a degree of Doctor of Medicine. He completed post graduate training at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Moulavi has achieved Board Certification in Anti-Aging Medicine (2005- ) as well as Bariatric Medicine (2006-2014). Dr. Moulavi has completed the process for his Fellowship Certification in Bariatric Medicine, in addition to his membership in the Obesity Medicine Association. He completed the Annual Practical Approaches to the Treatment of Obesity at Harvard University and is a member of the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine as well as the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. For more than 15 years he has specialized in the study and treatment of Bariatric Medicine and has trained over 100 doctors in the science behind Bariatric Medicine. Dr. Lipson is an alumnus of Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) after graduating the University of Miami with a B.S. in Psychobiology and minor in Business Administration. 

Dr. Lipson is a Primary Care Physician who specializes in Preventative medicine. He is also a Lipid Specialist and Researcher. He was also honored as a Fellow of the American Society for Preventive Cardiology (FASPC).

He completed training as Chief Resident at the Family Practice Residency Program at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida. He received his Family Practice Board Certification from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He is affiliated with the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners, and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association. 

He was born and raised in South Florida; he is married with one child, speaks Spanish, and enjoys Asian culture, geography and computer technology.
