Dr. Ashraf Salem (Ash) is the Founder, President and Chief Medical Officer of BKUC. Dr. Salem graduated, Summa Cum Laude, from Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at CCNY and attended medical school at Mount Sinai. After graduating he went on to complete his residency in Emergency Medicine at Brooklyn Hospital Center and was Board Certified in 2004. Sara Scalia, MS, PA-C    , is a board-certified Physician Assistant in who brings her expertise and dedication to dermatology to our Clifton New Jersey office at MDCS Dermatology. Sara’s passion for dermatology emerged during her time at the Rutgers University Physician Assistant Program, where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.. Following graduation, she began practicing dermatology, previously working with Dermatology Associates of Central NJ, where she honed her skills in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
Sara's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Northeastern University in Boston.
