Jocelin Gamez, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Michigan Avenue Primary Care, a multispecialty practice located in The Loop of downtown Chicago, Illinois.

Jocelin earned her Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her undergraduate years, she simultaneously worked as a certified pharmacy technician and certified emergency medical technician. She then earned her Master of Science in physician assistant studies at the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!). Her interests include women’s health, providing healthcare to Spanish-speaking populations, and preventative medicine.

James Hawkins, DO, is a vein specialist certified by the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, with over 30 years of experience. At Fox Valley Vein Centers, Dr. Hawkins serves patients living in and around Sandwich, Yorkville, and Aurora, Illinois.

Dr. Hawkins was born just outside of Chicago in Evergreen Park. He earned his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College, located in Lisle, Illinois, followed by his medical degree from the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. Dr. Hawkins then completed his subsequent residency at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, located in Chicago.

Today, Dr. Hawkins is a registered vascular technologist and a registered physician in vascular interpretation. Roy J. Bardwell, DO, is a board-certified family medicine and pain medicine physician with over 10 years of professional experience. At Health Solutions, with locations in Munster, Indiana, and Tinley Park and Rockford, Illinois, Dr. Bardwell specializes in osteopathic manipulation with an emphasis on chronic headaches and cranial pathology. 

Dr. Bardwell received his medical degree at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey) in Stratford, New Jersey. He completed both his internship and residency in family medicine at Saint James Hospital in Flossmoor.
