Martha Zaidi, PA-C, delivers exceptional patient care at Integrative Primary Care to the people of Houston and Katy, Texas. Martha takes a multidisciplinary approach to care. She has extensive experience diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions that impact pediatric to geriatric populations and is also skilled in treating open wounds and other trauma-related injuries.

In addition to trauma care and acute and chronic disease management, Martha’s background includes aesthetic medicine, skin care, and nutrition. The Texas Laser Institute recognizes her as a certified injector for Botox® and other dermal fillers. She also has experience administering injectable medications to treat carpal tunnel syndrome and other orthopedic conditions.

Martha earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Brownsville, Texas. She completed her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the University of Texas’s Edinburg, Texas, location. Dr. Karen A. Richardson serves as the Medical Director of OptimalMD. With over two decades of expertise in emergency and family medicine, she has held numerous leadership roles, including President of Rose-Rich EM Physicians and Assistant Medical Director at a Fort Bend hospital. Dr. Richardson began her career after earning her M.D. from McGovern Medical School and completing her residency at Memorial Family Practice Residency Program.

Dr. Marie Sohner is a co-founder of New Life Wellness & Medical Spa and a board-certified OB/GYN who has proudly cared for the women of Tomball and the surrounding communities for more than 40 years.

Before co-founding New Life Wellness, Dr. Sohner practiced alongside her husband, Dr. Michael Rodriguez, at Tomball Women's Health Care, a practice Dr. Rodriguez founded nearly 50 years ago. Together, they have cared for generations of families and have had the privilege of delivering thousands of babies—so many, in fact, that patients often joke they have "delivered half of Tomball." Their decades of compassionate care have created lasting relationships with families throughout the community.

When New Life Wellness was founded more than 12 years ago, Dr. Sohner led the wellness side of the practice with a passion for helping patients improve their overall health, address the root causes of illness, and reduce their dependence on prescription medications whenever possible. Chris Simpson, MD, is a family medicine physician practicing at Dickinson Family Medicine Clinic, located in Dickinson, Texas. He has been dedicated to practicing family medicine since 2018. He has a clinical interest in children’s, women’s, and men’s health and completes well-child exams, well-woman exams, adult physical exams, and Medicare annual wellness visits.

Dr. Simpson earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas. Elizabeth Finsness, or “Liza”, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Dallas, TX.

She graduated from University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She competed on UGA’s NCAA Equestrian team where she was named All-American four years, obtaining a National Championship and two SEC Championship titles. She earned her Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky. Liza began her dermatology career in south Florida where she practiced general and surgical dermatology for 2 years before moving to Texas. She has since earned the title of Diplomate Fellow as a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Being a native Floridian, Liza recognizes the importance of skin care and prevention of sun-related ailments. She is passionate about patient education and preventative medicine. She is well versed in medical dermatology as well as surgical dermatology. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, traveling, exercise, and spending time with family and friends

Zoe Apted, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Houston. Joining the Heights Dermatology team in 2019, Zoe brings incredible expertise. 

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. In 2014, she completed a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. After finishing her MPH, she obtained a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2016. Zoe received several academic scholarships throughout her academic career and maintained a position on the Dean’s List.

Before completing her graduate studies, Zoe worked in clinical research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. Additionally, she spent six months volunteering as a medical assistant at a rural hospital in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. During this time, she discovered a passion for clinical care, which compelled her to pursue a career in medicine. She previously practiced in obstetrics and gynecology before moving into dermatology, a field of special interest to her. Zoe is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Texas Association of Physician Assistants, and Texas Gulf Coast Physician Assistant Association.

In her free time, Zoe enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She lives in the greater Heights area and is excited to serve her community.

Annie Chang, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Houston. 

Annie is originally from the Houston area and attended high school at St. Agnes Academy. She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Nutrition in Business. She obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UTMB in 2019. 

Before completing her graduate studies, she gained hands-on experience working as a clinical care coordinator in hepatology at the Houston Medical Center.

In addition to her background in nutrition, Annie holds a keen interest in skin care and in preventative medicine through lifestyle and diet. Building a strong relationship with every patient is an integral part of her practice. Having received personal training in dermatology from Dr. Alpesh Desai, DO, and Tejas Desai, DO, Annie practices medical dermatology, skin cancer surgeries, and other various skin procedures. Annie regularly pursues her continuing medical education in dermatology to provide the highest quality care for her patients.

She is currently a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Texas Association of Physician Assistants, and Texas Gulf Coast Physician Assistant Association. In her free time, Annie enjoys cooking, crafting, and spending time with her husband and English bulldog, Rex.

Eva Hinojosa, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Heights Dermatology in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Eva was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, and moved to the Rio Grande Valley with her family at age 10. She graduated cum laude from St. Edwards University in Austin with a Bachelor’s in Biology in 2017. Eva received several academic scholarships throughout her academic career and maintained a position on the Dean’s List. After college, she spent her first postgraduate year working in the Emergency department and volunteering at rural clinics in Mexico and Peru. Eva then attained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. She is bilingual and motivated to help the Corpus Christi community in their skin needs. Eva’s interest in helping the community and passion for overall skin care is what drove her to pursue a field in dermatology; her interest was further motivated during her clinical rotations. Prior to her arrival at Heights Dermatology, Eva specialized in Internal Medicine in Mcallen, Texas. She is passionate about providing evidence-based care and enjoys staying up to date with new techniques and products out in the market. She prioritizes the importance of patient education and preventative medicine.

Eva received personal training in dermatology from Dr. Alpesh Desai, DO, and Dr. Tejas Desai, DO. She practices in the areas of general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. Eva is licensed by the Texas Medical Board and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In her free time, Eva enjoys exercising, spending time with her loved ones, and traveling.

Amneh Amro is a Physician Assistant that graduated from UT- RGV in 2012 and moved to Austin to pursue her career. She has worked in family medicine and urgent care settings for several years. She has gained experience in psychiatry during this time and enjoys the holistic approach if and when possible. On her free time she enjoys her family and loves to take her son paddle boarding!

Patricia Roberts-Harris, D.O. a family physician with over 18 years of experience offering an extensive suite of medical services for you and your family.
