Dr. Ashraf Salem (Ash) is the Founder, President and Chief Medical Officer of BKUC. Dr. Salem graduated, Summa Cum Laude, from Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at CCNY and attended medical school at Mount Sinai. After graduating he went on to complete his residency in Emergency Medicine at Brooklyn Hospital Center and was Board Certified in 2004. He continued to practice emergency medicine and became an Assistant Professor at Kings County/SUNY Downstate from 2003-2009. Dr. Salem founded Brooklyn Urgent Care in 2006.

Nicola Pemberton, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Artemis OB/GYN in Union, New Jersey. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey, where she was recognized for her resident teaching and given a faculty position at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York City, where she also served as a clinical assistant professor at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. 

Dr. Pemberton is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
